01What are the different types of solar systems?
On-grid (net-metering) is the lowest cost and suits most homes and businesses. Hybrid adds a battery for power cuts. Off-grid runs on battery only and suits remote farms and pumps.
02What government subsidy am I eligible for?
Eligible homes can get PM Surya Ghar subsidy: ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the third kW, up to ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above. Rules can change, so we confirm the latest amount before you decide.
03How much roof space do I need?
About 100 sq ft of shadow-free roof per kW. Most homes need 2 to 5 kW.
04How much can I save on my electricity bill?
Typically 70–90% depending on system size and your usage. Use our calculator for a quick estimate; the final quote comes after a free site survey.
05What is the payback period?
Usually 3 to 5 years for most systems, after which your solar power is almost free for the rest of the panel life.
06Do solar panels work on cloudy days?
Yes, but with lower output. Panels still generate on cloudy days and a well-designed system accounts for this in the savings estimate.
07What warranties do I get?
Panels carry a 25–27 year performance warranty from the manufacturer, and UTL inverters carry a 10-year standard warranty. Cables carry Polycab / Finolex warranty.
08Do I need to maintain the panels?
Light, regular cleaning keeps output high. Our AMC covers cleaning, inspection and fast support so you do not have to worry.
